Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe has been a style inspiration for years now Discount Coach Purses, thanks to her relationships with fashion icons like Nicole Richie and, most recently, her reality show, The Rachel Zoe Project. So it came as no surprise that her eponymous fashion line was just as stylish and inspiring. And the line’s Fall 2011 collection certainly did not disappoint.
Rachel Zoe’s Fall 2011 collection was full of classic tailored pieces, one-of-a-kind outwear and luxurious faux furs. Zoe described the collection as “seventies uberboho-glam,” and while she absolutely nailed this style, our favorite aspect of the collection is that it is composed of relatively simple, stylish pieces that can work in any girl’s wardrobe.

Look #1:?California Cool

Dressing for class as a student can be difficult. You want to be casual, cute and comfortable, yet still stylish. This first look by Rachel Zoe would be a super stylish option for class, or just a great look for a day of shopping with friends over break.
Getting the Look

To recreate this chic daytime ensemble, start with a white pussy bow blouse, add your favorite dark wash jeans, and layer on a light faux fur vest. Look #2: Blackout

Black and white may seem boring to some, but this ensemble makes the combo look super chic and modern. This outfit is the perfect combination of sophistication and fun – the simple shorts and pussy bow blouse give it a relaxed feel while the sequined cardigan and black booties spice it up.

While Zoe’s original look is extremely stylish, it’s admittedly a bit impractical for the winter. So to add some warmth (and a pop of color), I paired the look with a bright red cape. With the addition of the cape, the look is casual enough to be worn to class (switch the booties for knee-high flat boots) yet polished enough to be worn to dinner with the family.
Look #3: Military Night Out

For most college girls, going out on Friday and Saturday is like walking the runway: It’s your chance to get all dressed up and rock your favorite pieces. But after a few nights out, you’ll probably begin to notice a “going out uniform” – most girls reach for either tight dresses or skinny-jeans-and-a-cute-top. It definitely starts to get boring!
This Rachel Zoe look is an unexpected yet stylish ensemble that’s perfect for a night on the town. The all black is edgy and sophisticated, while the military jacket is both functional and chic. This look would be a bold, unboring choice for any Friday or Saturday night.
