Everyone knows her as the villain on MTV’s “The City”, but to me, as well as all of you CF readers who requested a post on her style, Olivia Palermo is a fashion force to be reckoned with.

The 25-year-old New York City socialite-turned-fashionista is, in my opinion, one of biggest trendsetters of the decade. In the years since she came onto the scene Coach Outlet Store, she’s been everywhere and done everything: from gracing the cover of ASOS Magazine, to being named “Girl of the Year” by Tatler Magazine, to being featured on the cover of New York Magazine, Olivia is known far and wide for her fashion sense. Palermo has also dabbled in design, collaborating with Roberta Freymann on a collection of beaded bib necklaces that are inspired by the cities of the world.

While “The City” may have introduced Palermo to the MTV-watching public, her daring fashion choices are what kept her in the limelight and sparked many a style obsession. So to those of you who love her style and wanted to see her featured here, the wait is finally over! Below, I’ll show you how to get Olivia Palermo’s sense of style, on a college student budget.

How to Get Olivia Palermo’s Style for Less

It should come as no surprise that the wardrobe of socialite fashionista has quite the price tag. That said, it’s easier than you think to emulate Olivia’s look without emptying out your wallet. Want proof? The following outfits are completely comprised of items that cost $100 dollars or less!

Outfit 1: Gray Blazer & Orange Heels

Olivia looked picture-perfect when attending the Giambattista Valli fashion show in Paris Louis Vuitton outlet! She rocked a gorgeous gray blazer over a simple white dress, along with a black clutch and bright pumps.

While to me, this outfit screams perfect daytime-chic Coach Factory Store Online, my favorite part of the outfit is the way Olivia added a splash of color with her sunflower yellow pumps – they make it appropriate for night as well! Get her look with a similarly cut dress, gray jacket, simple black clutch, and neon pumps, and you’ll be ready to sit front row at any fashion show.

Outfit 2: Striped Shirt, Tights Scarpe Gucci Outlet, & Belted Jacket

On a casual day shopping around New York City, Olivia rocked a pair of denim boyfriend shorts with tights, and looked fabulous in the process. ?I love everything about this look, especially the belted barn jacket over the casual striped tee. With Olivia being raised in Connecticut, to me, this outfit is Suburban prep meets New York City chic.

Outfit 3: Plaid Shorts, Blouse, & Long Coat

To me, this outfit screams, “sexy school girl-librarian chic.” It’s a little bit Rachel Berry from Glee and a little bit Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl, and Olivia pulls it off famously. I love the Upper East Side prep look she has going here, and the fact that she spiced up the outfit with a pair of shorts instead of a skirt.

Outfit 4: Boyfriend Jeans & Black Blouse

I love Palermo’s casual denim look here. She proves that it’s easy to glam up a pair of destroyed boyfriend jeans with a simple sheer button down and lace-up booties. In typical Olivia fashion, her look is put-together and sharp even when she dresses down.

Outfit 5: Statement Shorts & Classic Coat

Play up your spring wardrobe and channel Olivia’s colorful look with a pair of high-wasited, brightly colored trouser shorts. Add a chambray top like Olivia’s for a pretty color contrast, and finish off with some brogues and a tan jacket.

Outfit 6: Little Purple Dress

This is personally my favorite look of Olivia’s. Why? First, I love sheer sleeves on pretty much anything, and I love the mix of textures Olivia did here. But most of all, I really just love the color contrast between the electric purple animal-print frock and the bold tan cheetah print belt. Everything about this outfit works for me. Overall, Olivia rocked this outfit and though it’s definitely a risk-taking choice, it’s also easy to do on your own.
