To honor Cocteau scarpe Nike, Cartier has introduced the Trinity La Belle, named after his film “La Belle et la Bete,” for which Cartier supplied the diamond tears for the beauty. La Belle has six interlocking bands and is studded with a diamond star, playing off of the artist’s well-known signature. Coinciding with this memento joaillerie scarpe Nike, and just in time for the summer holidays, is the opening of the Cartier-financed restoration of the Maison Jean Cocteau in Milly-la-Foret, about an hour south of Paris.

Jean Cocteau, best known for his graphic line drawings and Surrealist cinema scarpe Nike, had a longstanding association with the jeweler Cartier that was best signified by his famously wearing two of its signature Trinity rings stacked on his left pinkie. Created in 1924, the three intertwined bands of pink, yellow and white gold have long been held as a symbol of love and worn by many a Cartier fan as an actual wedding band.
The home and gardens seem well worth the excursion. In “The Difficulty of Being,” Cocteau put it best: “I am living in this retreat, far from the bells of Palais-Royal. It gives me an example of the absurd magnificent stubbornness of the vegetable kingdom.”
